.. _troubleshooting_library_messages: 7.4 Library Messages on Standard Output ========================================== When the library refuses a call, it returns false (or 0) and, for some refusals, prints a message to standard output. There is no error-code function; in services or GUI applications, redirect standard output to a log. Some refusals print nothing (for example fault-state and DRL-state refusals, and set_robot_control precondition failures). Messages printed by the library: - ``this command can only be used in auto mode. please change to auto mode as robot mode`` - ``this command can only be used in manual mode. please change to manual mode as robot mode`` - ``this command cannot be used in recovery mode. please change to auto mode as robot mode`` - ``Depreciated.. please make sure monitoring version..`` - ``digital_index should be 0 to 15`` - ``digital_input should be 0 to 19`` - ``This command can only be over v3.4 robot controller. please upgrade your controller version`` - ``Already connected : `` (informational, not a refusal: open_connection on a connected object closes the existing connection and continues connecting; the message ends without a line break, so the next output follows on the same line) - ``Already connected`` (connect_rt_control, while real-time control is connected) - ``connect_rt_control() cannot be called from an RT callback`` (connect_rt_control) - ``RTControl is already stopped`` (printed by stop_rt_control, which returns false) - ``_is_done_bolt_tightening is only available FORCE_AXIS_X, FORCE_AXIS_Y, FORCE_AXIS_Z`` (is_done_bolt_tightening) - ``Depreciated API.. deleted soon.`` followed by ``Please use 'set_on_monitoring_data_ex'`` (informational, not a refusal: printed by set_on_monitoring_data; the callback is still registered) - ``Depreciated API.. deleted soon.`` followed by ``Please use 'set_on_monitoring_ctrl_io_ex'.`` (informational, not a refusal: printed by set_on_monitoring_ctrl_io; the callback is still registered) - ``Connect Failed Please check network state : `` (open_connection could not connect within 1 s, or the connection was refused, and returns false; the line printed just before it gives the cause) - ``[DRFL] EnQueue semaphore set failed`` - ``Timeout`` (informational, not a refusal: printed when no data has arrived from the controller for about 2 s; the connection then ends and the disconnect callback is called) - ``Manual mode has a speed limit for safety. To operate at full speed, please switch to auto mode.`` (informational, not a refusal: printed when a motion command is called in Manual mode; the motion command is still sent)
